Academic Enrichment (AENR1-UC)

This course is designed to provide targeted support for students with additional need for writing. Through focused activities, peer feedback, and individualized guidance, students will develop a stronger understanding of key writing concepts and improve their ability to meet the expectations of their writing course. Successful completion of this course requires active participation and demonstrated effort in addressing identified writing needs.

This course on research strategies for college focuses on different research topics each semester. The topic is listed in the course schedule for the semester. Such an approach allows the topic to be changed from one semester to the next.

Student Success Seminar is an introduction to the policies, procedures, resources, programs, and educational culture of higher education. The seminar is designed to provide a community for incoming students to gain knowledge and tools to ensure a successful transition to and beyond higher education through academic readiness, professional development, and essential skills for life-long learning.
